With over thirty years of experience, Dan Tenchara definitely takes the term 'Veteran Bass Player' seriously. In fact he's probably played in more bands than the rest of the members of Into Oblivion combined. Picking up the bass at the age of twelve, he played in quite a few bands in High School. His passion for rhythm led him so far as to learning the drums and playing snare for the Fall River Drum and Bugle Corps.

After High School, Dan went on to perform in various bands in New England. To name a few: ZAP, Raw Nerve, Orient, Drunken Injuns, Mill City Rockers, and most recently, Milkhouse (aside our own Sound Engineer Frank Dwyer).

Dan's playing style is a derivation between the Blues, Classic Rock, and Modern Rock. He provides an extremely solid rhythm section and his years of experience shine through in his ability to hear intricate melodies and harmonies. Dan is proving to be an invaluable asset to Into Oblivion and we all thank the fates for bringing him to the family.Dan works in Military Housing Maintenance and resides in Portsmouth with his wife and three children.
